Cleaning & Facilities Maintenance Team Member

About the role

Hungry Jack's Melton West is looking for a reliable, enthusiastic and hands-on person to join its team. The role keeps the restaurant clean, organised and welcoming for guests and staff, covering cleaning, stock handling and basic maintenance.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain high standards of cleanliness across the dining area, toilets, kitchen, outdoor areas and front-of-store glass.
• Complete scheduled deep cleaning and routine maintenance tasks.
• Keep the restaurant well-presented so guests feel welcome.
• Assist with receiving, checking and organising stock deliveries.
• Safely move and organise stock in storerooms, fridges and freezers, and report missing, damaged or incorrectly delivered stock.
• Maintain FIFO stock rotation and follow safe food storage practices.
• Identify and report maintenance issues, equipment faults and potential safety hazards.
• Follow cleaning, hygiene, food safety and workplace health and safety procedures.

Required profile

• Reliable, punctual and self-motivated, with strong attention to detail and pride in their work.
• Good organisational skills and able to work independently.
• Hands-on attitude and willingness to learn new skills; previous cleaning, stock handling or maintenance experience is an advantage.
• Able to safely handle stock deliveries and complete physical tasks.
