Classroom Teacher (K-6)

About the role

St Mary's Primary in Corowa is seeking a dedicated Classroom Teacher to inspire and guide students from Kindergarten to Year 6. You will create a supportive, faith‑based learning environment that aligns with the school’s motto of “Love and Truth”.

Key responsibilities

• Design and deliver engaging lesson plans that meet curriculum standards.
• Provide individualized attention to address each student’s unique needs.
• Maintain strong classroom management and promote student well‑being.
• Collaborate with colleagues to enhance educational outcomes.
• Build positive relationships with parents and guardians to support student success.

Required profile

• Relevant tertiary qualifications and NSW teaching accreditation.
• Religious education qualifications or willingness to obtain them per Work, Teach Lead Policy.
• Commitment to enriching the school’s sacramental, liturgical, and prayer life.
• Expertise in K‑6 curriculum development and effective pedagogies.
• Ability to create inclusive, rigorous learning experiences and differentiate instruction.
• Use of student assessment data to tailor support and improve achievement.
• Effective collaboration with staff and contribution to the professional community.
