Classroom Teacher

About the role

The Classroom Teacher will join St Francis Xavier Primary in Lake Cargelligo, delivering engaging, purposeful lessons to primary students. This temporary position covers a parental‑leave absence and offers a supportive, inclusive environment aligned with the Catholic Archdiocese of Canberra and Goulburn Education Limited (CECG) Catalyst direction.

Key responsibilities

• Plan and deliver evidence‑based lessons using approved curriculum resources.
• Create an inclusive classroom where every student feels valued and motivated.
• Conduct regular assessments, provide personalised feedback and track student progress.
• Collaborate with colleagues, Classroom Support Assistants, families and the wider school community.
• Participate in professional development and accreditation opportunities.

• Salary range $81,439 – $137,861 per year plus superannuation.
