About the role

Join Sacred Heart Primary School as a Classroom Teacher, inspiring and supporting students on their learning journey. You will deliver engaging, meaningful lessons in an inclusive environment where every child feels valued and motivated to achieve their best.

Key responsibilities

• Plan and deliver high‑quality, evidence‑based lessons across the curriculum.
• Create an inclusive classroom where all students feel respected and motivated.
• Collaborate with colleagues to share best practices and improve teaching outcomes.
• Partner with families to support student wellbeing and academic success.
• Contribute to the wider school community through committees and events.
• Engage in ongoing professional learning and accreditation activities.

Required profile

• Bachelor of Teaching or Master of Teaching.
• ACT Working with Vulnerable People (WWVP) clearance.
• ACT Teacher Quality Institute (TQI) registration.
• Accreditation in accordance with Work Teach and Lead in Catholic Education Canberra and Goulburn policy.
• Australian citizenship or permanent residency.
• Full‑time availability.
