About the role
Join Assurant's Business Services Team as a Claims Specialist, working in a hybrid model between home and the Hawthorn office. You will manage end‑to‑end insurance and warranty claims, ensuring a seamless customer journey.
Key responsibilities
- Deliver excellent service via phone and email, handling claim lodgment, adjudication, case management and settlements.
- Resolve claims cost‑effectively while complying with regulatory requirements and managing inbound/outbound communications.
- Coordinate administrative duties, address customer complaints within delegated authority, and collaborate with team members to meet service levels.
Required profile
- Previous customer service or call‑centre experience, with a pleasant and professional phone manner.
- Proactive attitude, ability to multitask, meet KPIs and work effectively in a team.
- Experience in complaint handling or disputes management is highly advantageous.
Required skills
- Sound knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite.
