Civil Construction Supervisor – Darwin

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Civil Construction Supervisor to lead major infrastructure projects across Defence and civil sectors in the Northern Territory. Reporting to the Project Manager, you will coordinate on‑site activities, ensure safety, quality, and timely delivery.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor work packages to meet schedule, budget, and quality standards.
• Liaise with subcontractor supervisors and coordinate ongoing works.
• Lead labour, plant, materials and subcontractors daily.
• Manage works in line with the Project Management Plan.
• Drive productivity and oversee crew/sub‑contractor performance.
• Conduct site meetings, pre‑starts, toolbox talks and inductions.
• Build strong relationships with clients, authorities and stakeholders.
• Mentor and guide the on‑site team.

Required profile

• Previous supervisory experience in civil construction.
• Proven track record delivering projects on time, within budget and to quality standards.
• Strong leadership managing large crews.
• Experience coordinating resources across site operations.
• Solid planning and reporting abilities.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement.
• Good IT and reporting capability.
• Strong safety record and commitment to HSEQ.

Required skills

• Current White Card.
• Valid driver’s licence.
• First Aid certification.
• Traffic Control ticket (or equivalent).
• HSEQ or related safety tickets.
