Chiller Team Leader – Perth

About the role

Lead, mentor and stay hands‑on as the Service Team Leader for chiller technicians in Perth. You will shape the future of HVAC service, develop talent and help expand the business while working with complex York chiller technology.

Key responsibilities

• Lead, mentor and develop a team of Chiller Technicians, apprentices and subcontractors.
• Drive operational excellence across maintenance, repair, retrofit and service activities.
• Provide senior‑level technical expertise on York chillers and related HVAC systems.
• Oversee commissioning, troubleshooting, diagnostics and preventive maintenance.
• Build strong customer relationships and identify service improvement opportunities.
• Support project planning, scheduling, estimating and resource allocation.
• Manage customer accounts and contribute to business growth.
• Promote safety culture and ensure compliance with standards.

Required profile

• Trade qualification in HVAC/Refrigeration or equivalent industry experience.
• Minimum 5 years relevant experience (or 7 years without formal qualification).
• Strong experience with centrifugal, screw or large commercial chillers.
• Demonstrated leadership or supervisory capability.
• Commercial awareness and sound business acumen.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.
