Chief Financial Officer

About the role

Triskele Labs, a leading Australian cybersecurity provider, is hiring its first full‑time Chief Financial Officer & Company Secretary. This senior, hands‑on position will own the finance function end‑to‑end and drive the transformation of financial and governance processes as the business scales.

Key responsibilities

• Lead finance strategy, planning, control, reporting, treasury, tax, audit and compliance.
• Act as Company Secretary, managing board governance, statutory compliance, minutes, registers and ASIC obligations.
• Oversee legal matters in partnership with external counsel, covering contracts, commercial agreements, employment and IP.
• Build the financial model from scratch, shift from billing‑based to net‑revenue reporting, and own gross‑margin forecasting, OPEX discipline and EBITDA protection.
• Design and deliver reporting suites for the board, executive team, lenders and Quarterly Business Reviews.
• Implement AI‑native workflows: automated AR and cash monitoring, daily forecast‑versus‑actual reporting to Slack, and AI‑driven modelling using live Xero data.
• Design the finance team structure, recruit a permanent Financial Controller and lead on‑shore and offshore finance staff.
• Partner with the CEO on pricing, deal structuring, capital allocation and hiring decisions.

Required profile

• CA, CPA or equivalent qualification.
• Company Secretary credentials, or AICD/Governance Institute accreditation.
• Proven experience in senior finance leadership, preferably in high‑growth technology or cybersecurity firms.
• Strong commercial acumen and ability to influence executive decision‑making.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Xero accounting software.
• Experience integrating finance workflows with Slack.
• Hands‑on experience building AI‑driven automation and reporting solutions.
