About the role

A regional role in Queensland, advertised by recruitment agency Atlas People, suits someone who enjoys a change of scenery and thrives in a busy environment. You will work alongside the Head Chef and run the kitchen regularly on his days off. The venue is a busy, vibrant restaurant serving bistro-style food plus a full menu.

Key responsibilities

• Work alongside the Head Chef in a busy kitchen.

• Assist with menu planning and suggestions.

Required profile

• Trade qualified with three or more years' experience.
• Experience in quality a la carte dining.
• Own traditional uniform and knives.
• Full and unrestricted working rights in Australia; willing to provide a current National Police Check.

Required skills

• Strong work ethic and excellent communication skills.
• Ability to produce consistent quality.
• Positive, 'can do' attitude and keen eye with high attention to detail.
