About the role

Join the culinary team at Rydges Canberra and deliver high‑quality dishes across all services, supporting the hotel’s commitment to memorable guest experiences.

Key responsibilities

  • Produce high‑quality dishes in line with restaurant standards.
  • Maintain strong recipe knowledge and ensure portion, quality and waste control.
  • Monitor food storage, rotation and cleanliness to meet hotel and WH&S standards.
  • Care for and maintain kitchen equipment and uphold safety guidelines.

Required profile

  • Minimum 1 year experience as a Chef de Partie.
  • Solid understanding of food preparation, cooking techniques and kitchen operations.
  • Strong organisational skills and ability to stay calm under pressure.
  • Commitment to high standards of hygiene, safety and presentation.
