Change Management Director

About the role

We are looking for a forward‑thinking Change Management Director to join our Enterprise Solutions and Technology business area. In this senior position you will lead enterprise‑wide organisational, cultural and technology change in line with the ATO’s Enterprise Change Management framework.

Key responsibilities

• Shape and oversee strategic change approaches across programmes and projects, keeping workforce needs and end‑user experience central.
• Embed change into business‑as‑usual operations to achieve benefits realisation.
• Uplift organisational change capability and maturity by embedding best practice and driving continuous improvement.
• Build senior stakeholder relationships to influence outcomes, resolve complex change challenges and mentor teams.
• Lead change management teams, assure delivery of integrated change strategies and roadmaps.
• Use data and insights to monitor readiness, adoption and outcomes.

Required profile

• Proven experience leading large‑scale change initiatives in a complex, technology‑focused environment.
• Strong stakeholder‑engagement skills with the ability to influence senior leaders.
• Demonstrated ability to mentor and develop change practitioners.
• Resilience and adaptability to navigate ambiguous and evolving situations.
