Change and Adoption Lead Trainer

About the role

The Queensland Government department is seeking an ICT Change and Adoption Lead Trainer to design and deliver capability uplift programmes that support digital transformation. You will create learning resources, lead communication activities and ensure new technologies are adopted effectively.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and deliver ICT capability uplift programmes, training materials and user‑adoption initiatives.
• Create high‑quality learning resources such as user guides, process maps, training videos, quick reference guides and communication packs.
• Lead communication and engagement activities to support ICT transformation initiatives.
• Manage intranet and collaboration sites, keeping content current, engaging and accessible.
• Coordinate stakeholder engagement activities including workshops, briefings, training sessions and readiness assessments.
• Monitor adoption metrics, training effectiveness and stakeholder feedback to continuously improve outcomes.
• Partner with ICT, business and programme teams to ensure successful implementation and sustained adoption of new technologies and processes.

Required profile

• 5+ years’ experience in change management, training, learning & development or adoption‑focused roles.
• Proven experience supporting large‑scale digital, ICT or business transformation programmes.
• Strong stakeholder engagement and relationship management skills, including experience working with senior leaders.
• Experience designing and delivering training programmes and adoption strategies.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong organisational abilities and the capacity to manage multiple priorities in fast‑paced environments.
• Excellent problem‑solving and critical‑thinking capabilities.
