Catering Attendant – Airport Kitchen Team

About the role

We are looking for a motivated Catering Attendant to join our national bakery team at Coolangatta Airport. In this full‑time permanent position you will help prepare and present meals for airline passengers, ensuring a high‑quality dining experience on board.

Key responsibilities

• Handle, plate and set meal trays according to visual guides.
• Stock airline carts with dry store items, packaged snacks and beverages.
• Load and unload wash lines, checking cutlery, crockery and glassware for condition.
• Follow food safety, HACCP and hygiene standards and cleaning schedules.
• Coordinate with team members to meet delivery timelines.

Required profile

• Strong attention to detail and accurate counting.
• Good verbal and written communication.
• Ability to stand for long periods, lift and move items.
• Flexibility to work shift patterns across a 7‑day roster.
• Clear National Police Check (required for aviation services).

Required skills

• Food hygiene knowledge.
• Understanding of HACCP principles (desired).
• Basic knife skills (desired).
