Catering Assistant

About the role

Compass Group is hiring a Catering Assistant for a permanent part-time role in Ermington (West Ryde area), NSW. The position supports residents through quality food and hospitality, with consistent hours and a supportive team. The pay is $27.09 per hour plus benefits.

Key responsibilities

• Assist with meal preparation and food service
• Support breakfast, lunch, dinner and refreshment service
• Maintain cleanliness and organisation across kitchen and dining areas
• Monitor and replenish stock as required
• Follow food safety and hygiene procedures at all times
• Support the team in delivering a positive dining experience for residents

Required profile

• Hospitality, kitchen, healthcare or aged care experience is beneficial but not essential
• A positive attitude and willingness to learn
• Strong teamwork and communication skills
• A reliable and professional approach to work
• Current Australian working rights
• Willingness to obtain a National Police Check
