About the role

Uniting Communities is looking for a Catering Assistant in Glenelg to support its Chef in delivering meals for Residential Aged Care Residents. The role offers workplace experience, on-the-job training and buddy shifts, and suits someone with a positive attitude and willingness to learn, with no experience needed.

Key responsibilities

  • Wash, peel, chop, cut and cook food
  • Collect meal orders from residents
  • Prepare and maintain dining rooms in a clean, hygienic and safe manner
  • Ensure reporting requirements and timeframes are met

Required profile

  • No experience needed
  • Positive attitude, willingness to learn and caring nature
  • Available Monday to Sunday, 4pm to 7pm

What we offer

  • Salary packaging of up to $15,900 per year pre-tax
  • A $2,650 Meals and Entertainment card
  • On-the-job training and buddy shifts
