Catering Assistant – Full Time (Mon‑Fri) in Wodonga

About the role

We are looking for a reliable and enthusiastic Catering Assistant to join our Wodonga team. In this hands‑on position you will support daily kitchen and catering operations, helping to deliver high‑quality food service while maintaining strict hygiene and safety standards.

Key responsibilities

• Assist with food preparation, meal assembly and service.
• Maintain cleanliness and food‑safety standards across all kitchen and service areas.
• Wash, sanitise and organise kitchen equipment and utensils.
• Receive, store and rotate stock while supporting inventory management.
• Support catering events and collaborate with the kitchen team to ensure smooth service.

Required profile

• Previous experience in hospitality, catering, food service or a commercial kitchen.
• Passion for delivering excellent customer service and working as part of a team.
• Strong understanding of food safety, hygiene and workplace health and safety practices.
• Reliable, organised and able to thrive in a fast‑paced environment.
• Flexible with shifts and willing to learn and grow within the catering industry.
