About the role
Auto Parts Group (APG), part of GPC Asia Pacific, is hiring casual warehouse storepersons for its incoming team at the NSW distribution centre in Smithfield. The role is repetitive and involves some heavy lifting.
Key responsibilities
- Loading and unloading containers and IBT cages
- Picking and packing goods
- Safely handling stock and using RF scanner technology
- Carrying out general warehousing duties
- Complying with all company policies, guidelines, directions and QA practices
Required profile
- Adaptable, able to think on your feet, communicate efficiently and work well in a team
- Good understanding of ERP-type processes
- Able to work in a rapidly changing and diverse environment
- Manual handling experience, able to lift up to 15 kg
Required skills
- RF scanner use
- Forklift licence (desirable)
