About the role
MSS Security is looking for a casual security officer in Rockhampton to work as a reliever in a professional, public-facing environment. The role suits someone who can manage challenging situations calmly and communicate effectively.
Key responsibilities
- Maintain a safe and secure environment through patrols and monitoring
- Screen visitors and manage access control
- Respond to incidents and challenging behaviour
- De-escalate situations through effective communication
- Complete reports and support emergency response procedures
Required profile
- Full Australian working rights
- Valid Queensland security licence
- First aid and CPR certification, or willingness to obtain it
- Blue card, or willingness to obtain it
- Willingness to complete a national police check
- 24/7 availability, including weekends and public holidays
