Casual Security Officer - Geelong Refinery

About the role

MSS Security, one of Australia's leading security companies, is looking for casual Security Officers to join its team at a refinery in the Geelong area. The role suits people who are committed to safety, security and providing exceptional service.

Key responsibilities

• Stay alert and observe surroundings to identify and report potential risks or suspicious behaviour.
• Monitor CCTV footage, access control and radio communication systems.
• Write incident reports and record occurrences where required.
• Conduct foot and vehicle patrols.
• Provide exceptional customer service.

Required profile

• Previous experience in security, especially in high-surveillance or industrial environments.
• Willingness to take part in an on-site shadow shift and complete a medical clearance.
• Availability to work a rotating 24/7 roster.
• Full Australian working rights.

Required skills

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Competent computer skills.
• Victorian Security Licence (control room activity advantageous).
• Certificate II in Security Operations (or higher).
• Current First Aid and CPR certificates.
• Valid Victorian driver's licence and willingness to obtain a current MSIC.
