Casual Research Nurse

About the role

Illingworth Research Group, part of Syneos Health, is seeking a Casual Research Nurse to support clinical trials in Melbourne. The role involves coordinating patient visits, managing trial documentation, and ensuring compliance with protocol and GCP standards.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain accurate trial documentation, electronic data transfer, and subject confidentiality in line with SOPs.
• Coordinate on‑site and off‑site subject visits, administer trial medication, and handle sample packaging and dispatch.
• Communicate with the research nurse project manager, site staff, and Principal Investigator to ensure smooth information flow.
• Attend Site Initiation Visits and other project meetings as required.
• Report adverse events, serious adverse events, and any suspected misconduct promptly.

Required profile

• Registered nurse with at least 2 years post‑qualification experience.
• Experience in clinical research trials and GCP certification.
• Ability to work autonomously and prioritize multiple tasks in a multidisciplinary environment.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
