Casual Guest Service Agent

About the role

We are seeking a dynamic Casual Guest Service Agent to join the front‑desk team at Mercure Perth on Hay. You will be the first point of contact for guests, ensuring smooth check‑in and check‑out processes and delivering a welcoming experience throughout their stay.

Key responsibilities

• Greet guests and visitors, providing friendly and professional service.
• Handle reservations, guest accounts, and telephone inquiries in line with brand standards.
• Promote and enrol guests in the Accor Live Limitless loyalty programme.
• Sell hotel facilities and services, including conference spaces and dining options.
• Reconcile cash floats and process payments at the end of each shift.
• Maintain accurate front‑office records and support other hotel departments as needed.

Required profile

• Previous customer‑service experience, preferably in a hotel environment.
• Ability to work under pressure, multitask and resolve issues quickly.
• Strong communication skills and a professional appearance.
• Willingness to work a 7‑day roster, including mornings, evenings and weekends.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Microsoft Office.
• Experience using Opera (hotel property management system) or similar PMS.
