Casual Gaming Attendant

About the role

Pegasus Leisure Group, the hospitality arm of the Melbourne Racing Club, is hiring a Gaming Attendant for its venue The Epsom in Mordialloc on a casual basis. The role helps create a welcoming, safe and enjoyable gaming environment while delivering excellent service and keeping responsible gaming standards. It suits people who enjoy a fast-paced hospitality setting and a supportive team.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver outstanding customer service with a friendly, professional approach
• Create a welcoming, safe and enjoyable gaming environment
• Handle cash and operate tills accurately and efficiently
• Support venue promotions and loyalty program enquiries
• Respond to customer concerns professionally and escalate where required
• Maintain the cleanliness, presentation and ambience of the gaming room
• Support responsible gambling practices and provide information when needed

Required profile

• Responsible Service of Alcohol (RSA) certification
• Responsible Service of Gambling (RSG) certificates
• Current gaming licence
• Do Food Safely certification, or willingness to obtain it
• Previous gaming or hospitality experience is highly regarded
