Casual Cook - Aged Care

About the role

Estia Health is looking for a casual cook for its Altona Meadows aged care facility. You will help create a home that residents love by delivering service standards of the highest level and preparing fresh, wholesome meals tailored to individual needs.

Key responsibilities

• Work alongside the chef to assist with kitchen management
• Tailor meals to meet individual needs and preferences
• Prepare healthy, nutritious and delicious meals for residents
• Support the wider kitchen team to deliver a memorable dining experience

Required profile

• Certificate III in Commercial Cookery
• Some experience in a commercial kitchen (aged care experience highly regarded)
• A good range of experience with different cuisines and dietary requirements, including those arising from social, spiritual and cultural needs
• Great communication and documentation skills
