Casual Care Service Employee

About the role

St Vincent's Care Services Bronte, a boutique 107-bed facility in a Sydney beachside neighbourhood offering holistic care and specialist dementia accommodation, is looking for a casual Care Service Employee. You will partner with residents to support their daily routine, lifestyle and choices so they feel safe, valued, respected and engaged.

Key responsibilities

• Provide direct care and assistance to residents with activities of daily living and personal care needs, including personal hygiene
• Help run the household as part of a supportive, dedicated team
• Follow the care plan and respect resident rights and responsibilities

Required profile

• Certificate III in Individual Support/Aged Care or similar qualification (essential)
• 6 months' experience in a similar role; residential aged care experience highly regarded
• Availability to work multiple shifts through the week
• Nationally Coordinated Criminal History Check and NDIS Worker Screening Check may be required

Required skills

• Excellent customer service and communication skills
• Experience with AutumnCare (or similar software) and the ability to keep excellent records
• Understanding of aged care and resident rights, with ability to follow the care plan
