About the role

The School of Humanities and Languages at UNSW is inviting qualified individuals to join a casual academic talent pool for teaching opportunities in 2026. This expression of interest covers a wide range of disciplines, from philosophy and history to European, Asian, and environmental studies.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver tutorials, lectures, and seminars both on‑campus and online.
• Assist with hybrid teaching delivery and marking of student work.
• Contribute to course development and curriculum support as needed.
• Engage with students from diverse backgrounds and promote inclusive learning environments.

Required profile

• Qualified individuals such as experienced tutors, lecturers, recent graduates or HDR candidates.
• Eligibility to work in Australia and possession of an Australian bank account.
• Commitment to equity, diversity and inclusion principles.

Required skills

• Strong communication and teaching abilities in the relevant discipline.
