Camp Operations Administrator

About the role

The Camp Operations Administrator will ensure smooth daily operations for the Merotherie camp, which supports up to 1,200 workers on the Central‑West Orana Renewable Energy Zone transmission project. Working closely with the Training team, you will coordinate accommodation, mobility and training logistics for the project workforce.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate and manage camp bookings to meet the evolving needs of the project workforce.
• Provide day‑to‑day administrative support to the Training team and other project functions.
• Liaise with training providers to organise onsite and online training sessions.
• Build and maintain professional relationships with employees, contractors, training providers and other stakeholders.
• Assist with worker interfaces to ensure training, mobilisation and project requirements are met efficiently.
• Support site access and competency management through 3D Safety, with full training provided.
• Help ensure employees have the information, support and access needed to mobilise and work on site.
• Contribute to a positive and well‑organised employee experience throughout mobilisation and the project lifecycle.

Required profile

• At least 1 year of experience in an administrative or coordination role.
• Experience in training, construction, safety, engineering or a similar project environment is highly regarded.
• Strong general computer and administration skills.
• Excellent communication and organisational abilities.
• A positive, professional and solutions‑focused approach.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a busy environment.
• Possession of a Construction Industry White Card.
• Reliable personal transport and ability to work from the Merotherie office Monday‑Friday.
