Cafe All-Rounder

About the role

As a Cafe All-Rounder at Allpress’s Fortitude Valley Espresso Bar you will help deliver the Allpress experience every day. The role blends coffee preparation with broader hospitality duties, moving between the coffee bar, floor and food preparation areas.

Key responsibilities

• Set up the café for service – dial in coffee machines, check stock, prepare sandwiches and ensure the space is clean before opening.
• Make coffees, take orders, run food and drinks, clear and reset tables throughout service.
• Assist with food preparation, including making sandwiches and preparing ingredients.
• Maintain cleanliness by washing dishes, restocking supplies, cleaning the bar and food prep areas, and keeping the café tidy.
• Monitor inventory levels and restock supplies as needed.

Required profile

• Shows ownership of their workspace and proactively identifies tasks that need to be done.
• Willing to jump in wherever the team needs help and works well in a fast‑paced, collaborative environment.
• Delivers friendly, attentive service to customers, ensuring a welcoming atmosphere.
