Cabin Ground Training Officer – 24‑month Fixed‑Term

About the role

Network Aviation, a subsidiary of the Qantas Group, is seeking a Cabin Ground Training Officer for a 24‑month fixed‑term contract based in Welshpool, Western Australia. You will lead ground‑school training and assessments for cabin crew, focusing on emergency procedures, dangerous goods, and human factors across our F100, A319 and A320 fleet.

Key responsibilities

• Design, deliver and assess ground training programmes for cabin crew.
• Maintain training equipment and documentation in line with regulatory requirements.
• Sign off on mandatory regulatory training such as dangerous‑goods handling and aircraft evacuation.
• Report incidents, hazards and training failures, and manage investigations.
• Conduct safety observations, inspections and provide feedback to senior management.
• Continuously improve training content and record learning outcomes.

Required profile

• Demonstrated people‑leadership with a willingness to coach and develop others.
• Strategic thinking and the ability to anticipate training needs.
• Strong communication skills, resilience and motivation.
• Previous experience in a similar training or operational cabin‑crew role.
