Buying Groups Insurance Broker

About the role

Marsh Australia is looking for a Buying Groups Insurance Broker to join its Buying Groups team. The role can be based in Melbourne, Sydney or Brisbane and operates in a hybrid model with at least three days per week in the office.

Key responsibilities

• Take ownership of industry insurance schemes, providing strategic and operational management.
• Deliver excellent service to scheme members and corporate sponsors.
• Initiate and progress new and renewal policy binding, invoicing and distribution of policy documentation.
• Process quotation and placing slips and prepare materials for pre‑renewal and broking meetings.
• Produce renewal reports and insurance manuals as required.

Required profile

• Tier 1 Insurance Broking Compliance qualification.
• Experience in an SME or scheme environment.
• Client service, underwriting, claims or insurance broking experience.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to learn new skills and concepts quickly.

Required skills

• Strong Microsoft Office suite proficiency.
• Experience with broker IT platforms.
