Buyer – Category Management & Brand Portfolio

About the role
We are looking for an experienced Buyer to manage a portfolio of brands within a defined category. You will drive growth, optimise space productivity and profitability, and lead 360° campaigns that increase category penetration.
Key responsibilities
- Contribute to ANZ category strategy using market trends, consumer insights and sales data.
- Maintain strong supplier relationships and lead commercial negotiations.
- Conduct joint business planning, including brand animations and assortment optimisation.
- Develop and manage a robust calendar for existing brands and new brand launches.
- Collaborate with Supply Chain on planning and forecasting to achieve stock targets.
- Track omni‑channel performance against KPIs such as margin, productivity and brand conversion.
Required profile
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Economics or related field.
- Minimum 4 years of experience in category management, retail buying or a similar role.
- Proven ability to build category strategies based on market trends and data analytics.
- Strong communication, stakeholder management and influencing skills in a multicultural environment.
