Business Transformation Consultant

About the role

The Business Transformation Consultant will support the company through a critical divestment, analysing the operating model, processes, systems, data and regulatory workstreams. The role focuses on identifying separation impacts, documenting requirements and helping to establish a viable standalone Energy Solutions business.

Key responsibilities

• Map current and future state operating models, highlighting dependencies, process gaps and control impacts.
• Document and manage dependencies across retail, commercial, projects, systems, finance and regulatory functions.
• Assess transitional service requirements and propose interim or permanent replacement arrangements.
• Produce artefacts such as process maps, impact assessments, requirement documents, dependency registers and decision logs.
• Analyse market regulation, especially for C&I customers, DER/CER participation and related compliance impacts.
• Elicit, analyse and document functional and non‑functional requirements for IT systems, workflows and reporting.
• Translate business needs into clear user stories, data definitions and solution options.
• Support testing, business readiness, issue management and go‑live activities.
• Conduct financial, operational and data analysis to inform internal decisions.

Required profile

• Proven experience in business transformation, operating model design or corporate carve‑outs.
• Strong analytical mindset with ability to assess regulatory and commercial impacts.
• Excellent stakeholder management skills across finance, commercial and technology teams.
• Ability to produce clear documentation and maintain detailed artefacts throughout a transaction.
