Business Trainee - Logistics and Inventory

About the role

MEGT is recruiting a Business Trainee to join one of its host employers in Beresfield, NSW. The trainee gains hands-on experience in logistics, inventory management and general business operations, working towards a nationally recognised qualification while earning a weekly wage. The traineeship is 12 months long.

Key responsibilities

• Process incoming shipments and coordinate outgoing deliveries
• Pick, pack and prepare orders for dispatch
• Maintain accurate stock levels and inventory records
• Assist with repair depot coordination and track items sent for repair

Required profile

• Eager to learn, takes pride in their work and enjoys a hands-on role
• Punctual, reliable and hardworking attitude
• Good customer service skills and strong attention to detail
• Willingness to learn new systems and processes
• Ability to undertake manual handling, heavy lifting and other physical tasks
• Positive attitude and commitment to completing the training
