Business Services Manager

About the role

Flinders Financial is seeking an experienced Business Services Manager to join its Accounting & Tax division in Perth. This role offers a clear pathway to senior leadership, including potential directorship, partnership, and equity ownership.

Key responsibilities

• Lead a portfolio of business services and tax clients, overseeing compliance and advisory engagements.
• Serve as the primary day‑to‑day contact for clients, building strong, lasting relationships.
• Review financial statements, tax returns, and advisory work prepared by team members.
• Mentor and develop junior accountants and senior staff.
• Identify value‑adding opportunities and deliver proactive advice.
• Contribute to business development initiatives and firm growth.
• Collaborate with Directors on strategic client matters and succession planning.

Required profile

• CA or CPA qualification.
• Significant experience in Business Services and Tax within public practice.
• Previous experience at Manager level or a high‑performing Senior Manager ready for promotion.
• Strong technical expertise across accounting, taxation and compliance.
• Exceptional communication and presentation abilities.
• Natural leadership with a passion for developing others.
• Clear ambition to progress toward directorship, partnership and equity ownership.
