Business Intelligence Manager

About the role

The NSW Police Force is seeking a Manager Business Intelligence to join its Chief Data Office. You will lead a large team delivering business intelligence products and services that inform operational policing, corporate strategy and business decisions across the organisation.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the development of consumable insights, reports, dashboards and analytical products for operational, tactical and strategic decision‑making.
• Manage a multidisciplinary team that includes a help desk, technical BI professionals and a training & outreach group.
• Drive the adoption of modern analytics tools and techniques, including large language models and automated search/retrieval solutions.

Required profile

• Extensive experience leading teams of 10‑15 data professionals in a BI or analytics environment.
• Strong technical leadership with proven ability to deliver data‑driven insights using contemporary analytics platforms.
