Business Development Representative – New Business (APAC)

About the role

Fivetran is looking for a Business Development Representative to drive new‑logo acquisition across the APAC region from its Sydney office. The role focuses on identifying key decision‑makers in commercial and mid‑market accounts and generating qualified meetings for the sales team.

Key responsibilities

• Map and prospect large commercial and mid‑market accounts, reaching C‑level to data analyst contacts.
• Conduct outbound outreach to named accounts, securing sales‑qualified opportunities.
• Collaborate with Enterprise and Commercial Account Executives, Marketing and Alliances to build pipeline and exceed revenue targets.
• Follow and adapt pre‑designed sales cadences, personalising them for industry, persona and use‑case.
• Log activities and manage lead information in Salesforce.com.

Required profile

• Proven experience in cold‑calling and outbound prospecting (minimum 6 months SDR/BDR).
• Strong written and verbal communication with proper grammar.
• High‑level understanding of enterprise or commercial data challenges.
