Business Development Representative

About the role

We are looking for a self‑motivated Business Development Representative to grow Uber's partnership network with local taxi operators, premium chauffeur fleets, and luxury transport providers across your state. You will act as the sole point of contact, building a pipeline of high‑value fleet partners and guiding them through onboarding.

Key responsibilities

• Identify and map target taxi networks, plate holders, and premium fleets; conduct outbound prospecting through cold outreach, networking and field research.
• Deliver tailored B2B pitches that highlight Uber’s technology layer, higher asset utilization, reduced dead‑meter time and access to continuous demand.
• Structure deals by addressing fleet owners’ pain points such as depreciation, idle time and driver retention.
• Vet prospective partners against Uber’s premium vehicle, insurance and quality standards.
• Assist partners with account creation and ensure a smooth handoff to operations for vehicle and driver onboarding.

Required profile

• Proven outbound B2B sales or business development experience, preferably with small‑to‑medium business owners in taxi, transport, rental or logistics sectors.
• Strong commercial acumen – comfortable discussing asset utilization, revenue per kilometre and ROI.
• Self‑starter who can operate independently as the only representative in the state.
• Polished communicator able to pitch to premium operators and build trust with traditional taxi networks.
• Exceptional organization and reporting discipline; maintain accurate tracking sheets and create concise visual updates for internal stakeholders.
