About the role
The Business Development Manager will lead sales initiatives for protected cucumber, tomato and capsicum crops across ANZ. You will build long‑term relationships with strategic accounts, manage pricing and profitability, and ensure a robust pipeline for these crops.
Key responsibilities
- Plan, review and execute the annual sales plan for key accounts, including targets and KPIs.
- Develop and maintain customer account plans to achieve crop profitability and partnership goals.
- Provide market, price, product, grower and consumer insights to shape crop strategy.
- Collaborate with internal global stakeholders on varietal performance and new introductions.
- Execute go‑to‑market strategies and commercial excellence policies for cucumber, tomato and capsicum.
- Manage connections between customers and regional retailers.
Required profile
- Well‑rounded knowledge of the vegetable seed business.
- Bachelor’s degree with 5–8 years of sales experience; marketing or project‑management experience preferred.
- Advanced consultative selling skills, including negotiation and closing.
- Strong entrepreneurial mindset and ability to work independently.
