Business Development Manager

About the role

Johnson Controls' Sensormatic Solutions is seeking a commercially driven Business Development Manager to grow its next‑generation retail technology portfolio across Australia and New Zealand. You will work closely with senior stakeholders and the ANZ executive leadership team to drive new business and expand strategic accounts.

Key responsibilities

• Identify, develop and convert new business opportunities, building a robust sales pipeline.
• Own the full sales cycle from prospecting to commercial close for RFID, analytics and integrated retail solutions.
• Engage C‑suite and senior decision‑makers, positioning technology within broader business transformation initiatives.
• Maintain accurate forecasting and pipeline management using Salesforce.

Required profile

• Proven track record in business development, solution selling or strategic account growth.
• Experience managing complex sales opportunities with multiple stakeholders.
• Strong executive and C‑suite engagement capability.
• High resilience, initiative and personal accountability.

Required skills

• Salesforce CRM experience.
• Knowledge of RFID, analytics, SaaS, IoT and enterprise technology sales.
