Business Development Manager

About the role

Accor is seeking a Business Development Manager to drive sales and grow revenue for its dual‑branded Novotel and Ibis Melbourne Central hotel. The role focuses on managing top corporate, wholesale and inbound accounts and expanding business across multiple segments.

Key responsibilities

• Manage and grow top accounts in Corporate, Wholesale, Inbound, Retail Travel Agent, and MICE sectors.
• Develop and execute working plans to achieve sales targets.
• Negotiate rates, terms and conditions with clients.
• Collaborate with internal departments to ensure smooth implementation of new business.
• Maintain accurate reporting and administrative records.

Required profile

• Proven track record in sales, preferably within hospitality or tourism.
• Strong ability to build and maintain client relationships.
• Excellent time‑management and reporting skills.
• Comfortable with computer and administrative tasks.
