Business Development Manager

About the role

SANY is looking for a commercially driven Business Development Manager to accelerate the growth of its transportation and energy solutions across Australia and New Zealand. The role will focus on expanding dealer networks, securing new accounts and promoting a portfolio that includes electric trucks, generator sets, renewable energy and hydrogen solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Identify and develop new business opportunities throughout the ANZ market.
• Build, manage and grow dealer and distributor networks.
• Target and expand key customer accounts in transport, logistics, mining, infrastructure and energy sectors.
• Present transportation and energy solutions to fleet, industrial and infrastructure clients.
• Support tender preparation and lead commercial negotiations.
• Collaborate closely with internal technical and product teams.

Required profile

• Minimum 2 years of experience in business development or sales.
• Background in commercial vehicles, transport, automotive, energy or industrial sectors.
• Experience in dealer or channel development is highly regarded.
• Strong communication and relationship‑building abilities.
• Willingness to travel across Australia and New Zealand; Chinese language skills are a plus.
