About the role

Join a market‑leading technology business as a Business Development Executive in Chatswood. You will be responsible for generating new business opportunities, building relationships with prospective clients, and driving revenue growth in a high‑performance, hunter‑focused environment.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute a high‑volume prospecting strategy to generate new business across the assigned territory.
• Identify high‑potential prospects, conduct deep research, and understand their challenges and buying triggers.
• Maintain a strong pipeline through outbound calls, emails, visits and follow‑ups.
• Book meetings, deliver tailored presentations and demonstrate commercial value to secure new customers.
• Use advanced questioning techniques to uncover pain points, create urgency and position solutions.
• Qualify leads thoroughly and prioritize opportunities aligned with growth objectives.
• Present and negotiate competitively to win new clients efficiently.
• Collaborate weekly with the sales team to review pipeline health and refine strategy.
• Provide accurate monthly reports and forecasts to align with business objectives.

Required profile

• Proven experience in a target‑driven, hunter‑style sales role with a track record of prospecting and closing new business.
• Confident communicator able to build rapport quickly and influence decision‑makers.
• Self‑motivated, resilient and able to thrive in a fast‑paced, performance‑driven environment.
• Strong analytical skills to assess pipeline health and forecast results.
