Business Developer

About the role

We are seeking a proactive Business Developer to drive commercial growth across Western Australia. You will shape market entry strategies, build strong customer relationships, and deliver profitable deals in the energy, fuels, logistics and infrastructure sectors.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and implement commercial strategies to penetrate new markets and expand existing ones.
• Analyse customer supply chains, operational needs and market dynamics to propose value‑added solutions.
• Conduct market research and competitor analysis to identify emerging opportunities.
• Collaborate with internal teams to align business‑development activities with company goals.
• Prepare commercial proposals, investment cases, reports and presentations for senior management.
• Monitor performance metrics and ensure targets are met.
• Negotiate contracts and agreements with clients to secure profitable deals.
• Adhere strictly to company policies and industry regulations.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree.
• Proven experience originating, negotiating and closing commercial deals.
• Established network and understanding of the Western Australian energy, fuels or industrial market (highly desirable).
• Strong analytical ability to interpret complex data.
• Ambitious, results‑driven mindset in a fast‑paced environment.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to extract actionable insights from market research.
• Flawless execution of central initiatives.
• Ability to work autonomously and within a collaborative team.
