Building Site Manager

About the role

In this role you will provide leadership on all site activities, working closely with the Project Management team to ensure projects are delivered to a high standard, on time and within budget.

Key responsibilities

• Manage the site team to ensure work is carried out to a high standard at all times.
• Foster a strong safety culture, making safety the number one priority.
• Collaborate with the project management team to ensure compliance with client and McMahon Services processes.
• Train, mentor, lead and motivate staff on project sites.
• Ensure projects meet time and resource management targets.
• Manage short‑term planning to achieve project milestones.

Required profile

• Proven experience in site management and project delivery within the construction sector.
• Construction trade qualification or equivalent industry experience.
• Strong understanding of construction programmes and methodologies.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to manage teams and coordinate subcontractors in a fast‑paced environment.
• Ability to obtain a defence clearance.
• Ability to pass a pre‑employment medical.
