Broker Relationship Leader – Commercial Insurance

About the role

We have an exciting opportunity for a Broker Relationship Leader to join our Commercial Insurance team, reporting to the State Manager WA. In this role you’ll build strategic partnerships with a panel of key broker partners, helping drive sustainable growth while delivering great outcomes for customers, brokers, and Zurich.

Key responsibilities

• Managing strategic relationships with a designated panel of key broker partners.
• Identifying growth opportunities and developing plans that support profitable business outcomes.
• Collaborating with underwriting, claims and risk engineering teams to deliver broker strategies.
• Strengthening Zurich’s market presence by promoting our value proposition across products and segments.
• Leading multi‑level stakeholder engagement across broker and Zurich organisations.
• Negotiating major opportunities and driving continuous improvement across broker partnerships.

Required profile

• Experience building and managing long‑term strategic business relationships.
• Demonstrated success developing business plans and managing sales pipelines.
• Strong relationship and strategic selling capability, ideally within insurance or financial services.
• Sound understanding of the general insurance market and intermediary distribution channels.
• Knowledge of underwriting and claims processes and how they support customer outcomes.
• ANZIIF CIP qualification or equivalent industry credentials with relevant insurance experience.
