Breakfast Attendant

About the role

The Breakfast Attendant delivers fast, friendly, and efficient service each morning, preparing and setting up breakfast for hotel guests while ensuring a welcoming experience.

Key responsibilities

• Greet guests and explain breakfast items using concise, descriptive language.
• Prepare breakfast items according to standard recipes and kitchen equipment.
• Maintain kitchen, storage, and front‑of‑house areas clean and presentable at all times.
• Inventory breakfast items, report order requirements to the manager, and receive deliveries, checking for discrepancies.
• Ensure food preparation complies with local health department standards and all health and safety regulations.
• Engage guests throughout their visit in a friendly, caring manner and assist with requests as appropriate.
• Assist in other areas, such as housekeeping, when needed.

Required profile

• Experience as a server, busser, runner, host, or breakfast attendant in hotels, restaurants, or related customer‑service settings.
• Minimum high school diploma, GED or equivalent.
• Relevant certifications such as ServSafe or TIPS, as required by federal, state, or local agencies.
