Branch Manager – Broken Hill

About the role

ANZ is looking for a Branch Manager to lead its Broken Hill retail banking outlet. The role focuses on enhancing customer experience while delivering strong growth across sales, revenue, productivity and profitability.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee day‑to‑day branch operations, ensuring compliance with ANZ policies and procedures.
• Drive sales performance and achieve revenue targets through effective business development.
• Maintain service excellence and high customer satisfaction levels.
• Manage branch profitability and productivity in line with ANZ’s Pillars of Performance.
• Lead, coach and develop branch staff to meet commercial objectives.

Required profile

• Proven business development and sales planning experience, preferably in financial services.
• Strong leadership and people‑management capabilities.
• Commercial acumen with experience in business management.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal and networking skills.
• Previous experience in retail banking is highly desirable.
