BMS Service Technician

About the role

Join Johnson Controls as a BMS Service Technician, responsible for maintaining and repairing building management systems across commercial and industrial facilities in Sydney. This full‑time position ensures client systems run efficiently and reliably.

Key responsibilities

• Perform preventative maintenance, fault finding and repairs on BMS equipment, including HVAC, lighting controls and energy management systems.
• Diagnose and resolve issues within building automation and control systems.
• Implement system upgrades, enhancements and modifications as required.
• Provide technical support and guidance to customers, facility managers and building occupants.
• Maintain accurate service records and documentation.
• Collaborate with internal teams to ensure seamless service delivery and customer satisfaction.

Required profile

• Proven experience as a BMS, Controls or HVAC Service Technician.
• Relevant qualifications or certifications in HVAC, Electrical, Controls or Building Automation.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem‑solving abilities.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team.
• Current and valid driver’s licence.
