Bitumen Tanker Driver

About the role

A leading supplier of construction materials is looking for an experienced Bitumen Tanker Driver to join its team based in Eagle Farm, Brisbane. The driver delivers bituminous products safely and efficiently to sites across Queensland and Northern NSW. The position is casual, paid $41.96 per hour plus penalties, with an ASAP start.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver bituminous products safely and efficiently to customer sites.
• Maintain a high standard of customer service and represent the company professionally.
• Complete delivery dockets and required paperwork.
• Conduct vehicle checks, maintain the company truck and report any faults.
• Follow all safety, environmental and operational procedures.
• Assist with loading and unloading bitumen products, including handling hoses and equipment.

Required profile

• Current MC driver's licence and current White Card.
• Dangerous Goods licence highly desirable.
• Previous heavy vehicle driving experience; bulk liquid or dangerous goods experience highly regarded.
• Understanding of fatigue management requirements.
• Ability to work independently and travel throughout Queensland as required.
• Flexibility to work occasional weekends and overtime.
