About the role

We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Barista to join our team in Breakwater, Victoria. This position is ideal for individuals looking to start their career in the hospitality and catering industry.

Key responsibilities

  • Prepare and serve a variety of coffee beverages and other drinks to customers.
  • Oversee coffee machine settings and maintenance to ensure optimal performance.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the coffee station and surrounding areas.
  • Provide excellent customer service, taking orders and addressing inquiries.
  • Assist in training new staff members on coffee preparation and service standards.
  • Manage inventory of coffee supplies and report any shortages to management.

Required profile

  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Barista experience preferred but not essential for entry‑level candidates.
  • Experience in front‑of‑house roles is advantageous.
  • Ability to work in a fast‑paced environment with good time‑management skills.

Required skills

  • Coffee machine operation and maintenance.
  • Attention to detail in drink preparation and presentation.
