About the role

As a Banking Consultant in Retail Banking at ANZ, you will provide customers with a seamless branch experience, meeting their end‑to‑end financial needs, conducting transactions, having needs‑based conversations and promoting digital solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Provide customers with a seamless branch experience across transaction activities, needs‑based conversations and digital education.
• Act as a role model and peer coach within a collaborative team to deliver the best possible customer experience.
• Contribute to a significant uplift in customer engagement and advocacy, creating real customer value.
• Participate actively in bank programs and initiatives.
• Take responsibility for ‘know your customer’ from a risk perspective.
• Ensure compliance with ANZ and branch policies and procedures.

Required profile

• Exceptional customer focus, with retail experience considered an advantage.
• Experience using and promoting technology, with working knowledge of digital channels.
• Ability to multitask and adapt quickly to change and ambiguity.
• Willingness to work in a collaborative team environment.
• Sound understanding of compliance requirements.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
